We've now resolved the incident and official confirmation has been received.
12:27 PM 13/02/2025: Damaged fibres repaired. Alarms have cleared. We are getting confirmation that services are coming back online and returning to normal.
Vocus observed multiple services impacted in Sydney NSW, affecting metro transmission and NBN services due to a contractor performing splicing activities and inadvertently impacting Vocus fibres. All services have now been restored as of 12:04 AEDT 13/02.
