We've now resolved the incident and official confirmation has been received.

12:27 PM 13/02/2025: Damaged fibres repaired. Alarms have cleared. We are getting confirmation that services are coming back online and returning to normal.

Vocus observed multiple services impacted in Sydney NSW, affecting metro transmission and NBN services due to a contractor performing splicing activities and inadvertently impacting Vocus fibres. All services have now been restored as of 12:04 AEDT 13/02.

Looks like Vocus have fixed the core issue. We are waiting for things to recover and official confirmation that the outage has been resolved.

10:38 AM 13/02/2025: Technician's have advised the cause of the outage is due to a broken fibre.

Please be advised, that our upstream carrier Vocus has identified a network disruption affecting NBN services in and around Gosford, NSW and Campbelltown, NSW.

Vocus network teams have been engaged to investigate and identify the cause of the disruption. An ETR will be provided once our initial investigation is complete.
